HFD Charitable Foundation raises record £150,000+ at 16th annual Gleneagles fundraiser
The HFD Charitable Foundation has raised just over £154,000 at its 16th annual fundraising golf event at Gleneagles — the highest total raised through the event in its 16-year history.
Held on Friday 17th April 2026, the event welcomed almost 200 guests to Gleneagles for a full day of golf, outdoor pursuits, fundraising and entertainment, continuing a tradition that has now raised vital funds for local communities throughout Glasgow and wider Scotland for 16 years.
Players, who included those from across Scotland’s construction, property and engineering sectors, had the opportunity to take part in golf across Gleneagles' Kings, Queens and PGA courses, whilst a non-golfing activity of tri target shooting was also organised. The evening part of the event involved a charity raffle, further helping to boost funds for the Foundation.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our guests, sponsors and supporters, this year’s event raised more than £20,000 above the total achieved at last year’s Gleneagles fundraiser.
Making a difference in our communities
The HFD Charitable Foundation was established in 2019 to build on HFD Group’s long-standing commitment to supporting charities and community initiatives across Glasgow, Lanarkshire and wider Scotland. Its work spans a wide range of causes, from tackling poverty and hardship, and supporting children and families, to improving health and wellbeing and helping people facing social isolation or disadvantage.

Most importantly, the funds raised will allow us to support even more charities and initiatives that are making a positive difference in communities across Scotland.”
